Co-teaching is a concept that is being implemented between the English and History departments.  This page allows students access to digital books that are utilized in the English component of American Studies (formally known as U.S. History and American Literature).  One American classical novel will be read each quarter and a 600-word essay will be written on the social implication the novel(s) have over American society; that is four novels will be read for this course.  Students will have the opportunity to choose a novel from the choices associated with the unit.  Refer to the "Writing Resources" Page for any assistance on writing an essay. DUE TIMES:​​ Unit 1 = 1st Quarter; Writing due last day of quarter; Unit 2 = 2nd Quarter; Writing due last day of quarter; Unit 3 = 3rd Quarter; Writing due last day of quarter; and Unit 4 = 4th Quarter; Writing due last day of quarter.
