Unit 1: Indigenous Histories will provide an understanding of the diversity of Indigenous Peoples in the western hemisphere. We will be learning about Indigenous histories through reading An Indigenous Peoples History of the United States for Young People. We will be covering up to two chapters a week for the first quarter of the fall semester. Below are the chapters that we will be covering through Unit 1: Indigenous Histories.
