Eighth Grade American History is a course with an overview of the geological and human histories of the United States of America. Students will be examining eras throughout the history of the United States. This course will be stimulating and will allow students to work at their own pace, within reason.

American History Topics:
  • Unit 1: Indigenous Histories
  • Unit 2: Connecting with the Past: Colonial History
  • Unit 3: A New Nation
  • Unit 4: The New Republic
  • Unit 5: The Era of Expansion
  • Unit 6: The Division of a Nation
  • Unit 7: The Growth of the United States
Semester Final
Class Schedule/Office Hours:
  • 1st Period:  8:00 AM - 9:05 AM
  • 2nd Period: 9:09 AM - 10:05 AM
  • 3rd Period:  10:09 AM - 11:05 AM
  • Office Hours are by appointment
Materials:
  • Writing Utensil (i.e., pen or pencil)
  • Notebook/laptop
  • Headphones (optional)​
